Couple killed in road crash named

A couple who died in a car crash in West Yorkshire has been named by police.

Eric Walsh, 93 and his wife Marion, 90, from Bailiff Bridge, Halifax, died at the scene of the crash on Halifax Road, Cleckheaton, on 4 February.

The pair were travelling in a Skoda Octavia which was in collision with a Kia at about 12:30 GMT.

The female driver of the Kia was hurt but her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of the moments beforehand to contact them.
