Disqualified driver sought by police

THE public’s help is being sought to trace a disqualified driver who is wanted for a driving offence.

Police in Bradford say they are looking for Mark Meek, 35, who is wanted for an offence of driving whilst disqualified in the Manningham area of Bradford in September last year.

PC Rowan Boyle, of Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Mr Meek is aware that he is wanted but has refused to hand himself in to the police.

“A decision to disqualify someone from driving is not taken lightly and is done so for the safety of the driver themselves and other road users. An individual who has been disqualified from driving can also not hold valid insurance, therefore furthering the risk to other road users.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Mr Meek or with information about his whereabouts to please contact the Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team via 101, quoting crime reference 13170425387.”
