BRADFORD’S transformed underground complex will take a step back in time to help celebrate its first anniversary.
Sunbridge Wells will host an 1980s ‘’takeover’ night on December 30 to pay homage to what it is describing as Bradford’s “golden era of clubbing”.
There will be six rooms and nine DJs to cater for all tastes – from pop and soul to funk, hip-hop and dance.
The event will host DJs from the era including Tank, Hutchy, Roy Stone, Paul Schofield, B-Fresh, Warren Coulton, Alan Kent, Chris Thomas and Jerry Crawford.
Admission costs £5 and tickets can be bought from the 1920s Club, Alibi, Wallers Brewery, Laurel and Hardy bar.
They can also be bought online by visiting skiddle.com.
The underground development opened last December and earlier this year scooped two awards at the Civic Voice Design Awards, a national celebration of well-designed new build, heritage and public realm projects.
