Anna Paquin ‘claims’ the breasts seen on BBC News At Ten

True Blood actress Anna Paquin has “claimed” the breasts that were accidentally broadcast on BBC News At Ten.

During a live broadcast earlier this week, eagle-eyed viewers spotted X-rated images on a TV monitor in shot.

Presenter Sophie Raworth was reading the news, unaware that she had been upstaged by the footage.

Some outlets reported that the BBC had “broadcast porn” but it was just an old episode of the HBO vampire series.

The breasts belonged to lead actress Anna Paquin, who seemed thrilled about the extra screen time.

True Blood co-stars Stephen Moyer, Evan Rachel Wood and Robert Kazinsky also tweeted about the incident.

Stephen, Anna’s husband, said the BBC blunder was making him “very happy”.

Anna describes the scene shown as “fairy land graveyard sex”, where her character, Sookie Stackhouse, gets intimate with Robert Kazinsky’s half fairy, half vampire character.

Anna also joked about the BBC’s reaction to what was seen on TV, questioning a statement which said they were “looking into the matter”.

A fan recommended Anna coin the phrase “photoboobed” which the actress then turned into a hashtag.

Seven series of True Blood were broadcast between 2008 and 2014, which focused on supernatural events in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
